When you are in camp safety is a #1 priority. Everyone will be responsible for making our camp safe and must be respectful of other hunters. Below we have listed a few rules to help provide a safe and fun atmosphere while everyone is in camp.
Safety and a relaxing, enjoyable atmosphere is our goal.
CAMP RULES & REGS.
# 1 All hunters must follow the KY state game laws at all times. You can find these as well as purchase your license at http:/www.kdfwr.state.ky.us/
# 2 Everyone will unload their firearms before they leave their hunting site and handle them as if they are loaded at all times. Careless handling of your firearms will not be tolerated.
# 3 No one will be permitted to leave their stand for any reason other than an emergency. We do not allow hunters to get down and walk around during their hunting time. This will only cause unnecessary pressure to our hunting areas. If you shoot a deer do not go look for it, you may push the deer if it is not dead. I have seen this time and again. We will track your deer with you.
# 4 All persons will respect other hunters in camp. We are here to provide a quality experience for everyone.
# 5 All Jonathan Creek Outfitters properties are held to a 120 inch gross antler score. A $25 per inch fine will be implicated to any hunter harvesting a smaller buck. max $500. Any hunter caught shooting a small buck and not reporting it to your guide will be asked to leave immediately. We can live with you getting buck fever and shooting the wrong deer, it happens, but we will not tolerate you shooting an animal and not reporting it.
# 6 Consuming alcoholic beverages while hunting is prohibited. If you drink, you must remain in camp.
